Wat 01 Water consumption

5

  • Reducing the demand for potable water through the provision of efficient sanitary fittings, rainwater collection and water recycling systems.

Wat 02 Water monitoring

1

  • Specification of water meters on the mains water supply to encourage water consumption management and monitoring to reduce the impacts of inefficiencies and leakage.

Wat 03 Water leak detection and prevention

3

  • Recognition of leak detection systems capable of detecting a major water leak on the mains water supply
  • Flow control devices that regulate the supply of water to each WC area or facility to reduce water wastage
  • Easily accessible leak isolation valves, to allow leaks to be stopped and then fixed quickly and with minimum water wastage.

Wat 04 Water efficient equipment
